Closer Acoustics 300B Provocateur tube amplifier is designed to maximize the performance of high-efficiency loudspeakers.
Following our philosophy of simplicity and clarity, we selected the classic Single Ended Triode 300B to power our loudspeakers.
By combining modern design with high-quality internal components and precise craftsmanship, we developed an amplifier that delivers excellent sound performance.
The 300B triode, often regarded as a reference vacuum tube, operates under optimal conditions thanks to polypropylene capacitors in the signal path and power supply circuits, with electrolytic capacitors used only in heater circuits. The Provocateur operates with very low noise and provides precise control over complex music passages with wide dynamic range.
The 48-step attenuator allows smooth and consistent volume adjustment, controllable via remote.
For users seeking enhanced performance, the Signature version of the 300B Provocateur offers additional features. It includes amorphous core output transformers, higher-grade tubes, and options for RCA or XLR inputs.
These upgrades result in a more detailed and transparent sound reproduction with maintained energy. The 300B Provocateur Signature is available with an Alcantara finish or can be customized to specific preferences.
