At the heart of OGY Active is the same acoustic philosophy that defines the original OGY: one full-range driver, one carefully engineered transmission-line enclosure, and no conventional crossover.
By reproducing the musical spectrum through a single driver, OGY preserves the coherence, immediacy and natural presentation that have become hallmarks of our loudspeakers.
The enclosure is crafted from high-quality Baltic birch plywood, combining excellent acoustic properties with natural beauty, minimalist design and meticulous attention to detail.
OGY Active preserves this original acoustic concept while introducing a completely new approach to amplification, signal processing and connectivity.
A Fully Integrated System — Engineered as One
Unlike conventional Hi-Fi systems, where loudspeakers and amplifiers are selected and matched separately, OGY Active is designed as a complete, self-contained electroacoustic system.
Each loudspeaker incorporates a dedicated Class D amplifier and custom-programmed digital signal processing (DSP), precisely optimized for the characteristics and capabilities of its full-range driver.
The amplifier and DSP work together to control the loudspeaker’s performance across its entire operating range.

One of the key advantages of OGY Active is its carefully controlled maximum output.
The system’s DSP programming establishes predefined operating limits, allowing the loudspeaker to reach its designed maximum sound pressure level while protecting the driver against overload and excessive distortion.
This means that even at the highest available volume setting, the system operates within its engineered performance limits.

OGY Active uses WiSA wireless audio technology to transmit digital audio directly from the Platin Stereo Hub HT to both loudspeakers.
WiSA provides lossless digital audio transmission with exceptionally precise synchronization between the left and right channels.
Unlike conventional wireless streaming solutions, the connection between the Hub and the loudspeakers does not depend on your home Wi-Fi router.
Each loudspeaker requires only a mains power connection.
